About Us
Our journey started when founder Michael Thomas joined the United States Army out of
high school in 1993. His duty as an airborne supply sergeant serving at F. Company 51st
Infantry Long Range Surveillance taught him leadership, discipline, a good fundamental
of supply chain management. Michael separated from the Army with honor to pursue
new opportunities. He is an innovation and thought leader in the areas of LED lighting
technology, thermo dynamics and power management. Michael has over 15 years of business
strategy, product development and technology mapping within the commercial and
horticultural lighting industry. Michael is a US Army veteran, holds a BS from Michigan State
University and an MBA from The University of Georgia. Michael is founder of Thomas
Technologies based in Detroit Michigan Michael’s corporate experience includes a variety of industry positions including
Stanley Electric, Samsung Electronics, Panasonic Group, Osram Opto Semiconductor and Jaro
Thermo.
Thomas Technologies was founded during a time when our nation was experiencing
new challenges from COVID-19. People and companies struggled with solutions in
supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, sales, and technologies. Our goal is to listen
to our clients and then take what we have learned along with their goals to create an
innovated solution that can be a win win solution for all parties involved. Our clients and
